Podmore Beach Needs Your Help

If you’re out on the lake in the next few days your help would be greatly appreciated.  The beach area needs about ½ hour of your time for two small jobs:

  • Every fall the picnic tables are lifted up to the grassy area and stood up on their side against a tree. This adds to their longevity and keeps them from floating away in the spring.
  • A final check of the outhouse is done and the door closed safely for the winter.

We are all stewards of this wonderful water access beachfront contribution to our waterfront community. The shallow beach is perfect for young or new swimmers and so many of us meet up with friends on the beach for summer picnics.
